Completely agree with you, and this really is a sexy scene. It reminds me a great deal of the lyrics of Eluveitie’s “Dessumis Lughe”, and is not particularly dissimilar to the methods of cursing hinted at in the Eddas.
Well, she did make a point of leaving the curse wide open as far as WHAT she’d sacrifice if she got the result she wished. That’s part of the issue, though hatred like that can be a potent fuel for this sort of work.

The shipping’s a killer, though, as lead’s about 4lbs per square foot for the right thickness.

Great scene, and it did work for her. However, she did have to die in order for it to take full effect.
