I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my last post. I read each and every one of your words with great interest and you all gave me much to think upon. I chose not to comment back, not because I didn’t appreciate them because I sincerely did, but I got a little overwhelmed and wasn’t sure that to say ‘) . Seriously, the blogging community is awesome and I felt fortunate that enough people cared to give me advice!
I traveled home for the weekend, a nice respite from daily life and did a lot of thinking. I have more questions than answers but one thing I do know in my heart is that trying to stick myself in a Druid shaped box won’t work any longer. As one of the commenters on my last post said “it’s not going to be the water that quenches your thirst”. Not to say that I don’t think it’s not a beautiful and valid path because it is, it’s just not my main path any longer no matter how beautiful of a path it is. My interests are really evolving in other directions, directions I can’t ignore. At least this much I’m pretty sure of in my heart of hearts.
I’ll be doing a lot of pomndering and finding my own answers this Samhain Season. I actually want to take time to work things out on my own so I don’t think I’ll be posting again until after the month is over (i.e. a self inforced radio silence). Some growing needs to be done in silence and peace. 😉
Have a great Samhain my friends! See ya on the other side.
Your blog will very much be missed! Everytime a new one comes up in my RSS I am really happy. Understand your reasons though. A number of pagans I talk to have expressed that this coming Samhain seems important. Not sure how else to describe it but it feels like the winds are changing.
Best of luck to you. I will light a candle for you and pray that you find the peace about your path that you seek.
Thank you very much Aynfean! It does seem like rather in important Samhain season doesn’t it? Thank you for the compliment as well. Although I’m not going for good! Just a little bit 😉 I’ll be back after the month is over!
Have a very good Hallows!
You better be back or I’ll start to harass you. I look forward to swapping Samhain experiences… I’ve got a rather big night planned myself 🙂
Best of luck with your search! I look forward to hearing how it goes. 🙂
Peace,
Grey Catsidhe
Thanks Grey CatSidhe!
Good luck and best wishes to you and your family!
Sincerely (no, really!),
Brian
Thank you Brian! Much appreciated.
